- On the toolbar, click Open
.
- In the Look in box, click the drive or folder you want to search.
- In the folder list, double-click the name of the folder you want to
search.
Search for
more than one folder at a time
- In the Text or property box, enter words from one of the file
properties for the file you want to search for.
To search for a phrase such
as "apple pie", enclose the phrase in quotation marks.
- To search all subfolders of the selected folders and display the folder
that contain the files that are found, click Commands and Settings
, and then click Search Subfolders.
- To search for files by specific or nontext file properties, click Advanced.
Use the Advanced

- To begin the search, click Find Now.
To cancel a
search, click Stop.
